One of the Chamber's objectives is to provide instruction in geology, exploration and mining through the annual delivery of Basic and Advanced Prospecting Courses.

The Basic Prospecting Course is offered in the fall, October to December. This is an introductory course designed to introduce to mineralidentification. The course is offered on Monday and Wednesday Evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. .

The Advanced Prospecting Course is offered in the spring. The course is designed for those wishing to work in this field. Must have some previous experiene or taken the Basic Prospecting course to enroll.
